Hi

I am trying to work out the difference between an Arduino WiFi shield for £56.95
or a
Xbee wireless shield for £13.49

or a Arduino Uno R3 with radio transceiver (built in wireless) £23.68

I was just going to get entry level Uno, but the one for £23.68 caught my eye as I though built in wireless might be worth having

But after looking there seem to be 3 different wireless options and I am not event sure if they are actually onboard wireless or something else

Anyone help please?

thanks

wifi will connect to your wireless network.
xbee is an alternative rf protocol not compatible with a wifi network.
You haven't quoted the model for the combined unit but I've seen one from CPC and that's xbee too.

Male sure that you factor in the xbee chip. All the cheap xbee shields I've seen don't include the xbee chip itself, you have to buy this separately!
