I got it to work! Yea!

Arduino to Maxim 7219 to control
296 LEDs in a linear pattern'

The MAxim 7219 was designed to work
a matgrix display or a sevenj segment
LED.

A PCB was designed to creat a linear
display.

display working off of the motion detector.
