I thought of building a miniature railgun, for non-violent purposes, if nothing else for a conversational piece. I have found a few schematics for one but they are huge. I want to build a small toy. Ideas welcome.

 

I hate to say it, but I don't think AAC will host a discussion about a railgun, whether you're using it for violent purposes or not. Either way, any help we would give could still go toward building a dangerous weapon (even if you're not the one who makes it). So I'm sorry, but I don't think we can help. The decision is ultimately up to the mods, though.
