Anyone can identify this manufacturer?

The title says it all. I'm trying to identify the component's manufacturer or even better to find the IC's datasheet. It's a BGA package about 12.5mm x 8mm. It says ICFI2.

Thanks

I'm thinking that it may be Monolithic Memories. The original MMI logo had MMI in a fairly similar font.

The logo was simplified later, but I can't find an image of it.
MMI was acquired by AMD, then spun off as Vantis Corporation; Vantis used a V with a circle around it - so it makes sense to me that a simple M with a circle around it could very well be that simplified logo.

Vantis was later acquired by Lattice semiconductor.
This is simply a guess about the logo, and I may very well be wrong.

Yeah it is - silly me. I knew I'd seen it before; Micron makes tons of memory ICs.

You might contact Micron and ask them what it is. But, I have a feeling that it may be a proprietary IC developed for a customer (manufacturer of the PCB you have there).

Hi You have probably found this but I think this is what you were looking for.
http://www.micron.com/support/fbga.html FBGA Part Marking Decoder:
Due to space limitations, FBGA-packaged components have an abbreviated part marking that is different from the part number. Micron's FBGA Part Marking Decoder makes it easier to understand that part marking.
Simply enter the five-digit code in the FBGA Code field and click "Search" to get the full part number. The FGBA code is the second 5-digit code found in the chip marking. It is typically preceded by an MT mark.
The FBGA Code is D9KHQ
Part Number: MT47H32M16HR-3 IT:F

I have not looked to see what this is yet, but just hope this helps out.

Also the following links are helpful.
http://www.micron.com/numbering
http://www.micron.com/products/mcp/managed_nand.html This page has a lot of PDF files that got me to the numbering link[/SIZE]

GREAT !!! That is what I was looking for.

Thanks

Btw, I don't buy this space limitations bla bla. There is always more space available on IC packages. But instead of putting the manufacturer code they often put some funny numbers nobody can identify...
