An unwelcome forum change

There is a guy somewhere on this forum he is looking for this information... i just cant find him again
(my underlining)

This is a quote from another thread, but it sums the change up nicely.

The new so called intelligent parser that removes references to threads I have just looked at from 'new posts' should be summarily removed itself.

It is a real pain.

A few people have commented on this, sadly with some negativity. I'll ask Rob for his input.

There is always this, but it isn't exactly obvious or easily discoverable.

Can we have a user poll on this?

I find the new system very user unfriendly.

In a couple of other V-Bulletin forums I visit one uses the new system and is noted for its general restrictiveness.
The other doesn't and is lively and highly successful.

Please revert to the old system.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'm open to reverting it back to the old system. I can do it tonight unless some pro-new-system people speak up :)

Hello,

I think the new system in working very well.
It remembers the posts that I have read better as the old system.
I can switch to an other PC and see the same posts as read, while the older system did not.

Greetings,
Bertus

The older system was much more user friendly and efficient. However i'm pretty impressed by the cosmetic changes made and the general appearance of AAC. :)

Best regards,
Shahvir
