I couldn't find the mosfet model for OrCad. Please help me to find the model of FDG328P and FDG311N. I've downloaded *.olb file for fairchild website but couldn't find these two mosfet there.

Go to this page, scroll down to the model numbers, and click on "electrical". You will probably have to fill out a request form. If they ask for a company name, you can use something like "Yokel Designs".:)

Atlast, I could simulate the circuit !!

But some errors are appearing in the simulation output window; like, discontinuous simulation due to convergence problem. No output is simulated after 16.85 us, it's saying convergence problem in transient analysis at time = 16.85 us

By the way, if I increase the bias voltage (eg. 10V) can I get a voltage amplification with the same circuit? For experiment I also need to get the voltage output 10V (0 to peak) some times.

Thanks a lot

What simulator software are you using?
If you raise the supply voltage to 10V, you would have to also raise the generator voltage to 20V (for 10V gate drive). Then it would theoretically work, but the shoot-through current would reach around 20A peak. The max peak current for these transistors is 6A.

I am using OrCad Capture 9.00.1153 CIS
By the way please tell me where can I get a four pin MOSFET model (Part). May be the one I am using is not matching with the library provided from the fairchild.

I don't know anything about OrCad. I had to modify an existing LTspice symbol to run the simulation in LTspice.

Dear Ron H, I have implemented the circuit. It works fine when there is no load, but with load it gets totally distorted. With load the input signal also gets distorted and show lot of noises.

Please tell me how I can solve them. BTW the load is now 30nF capacitor (PZT capacitance).

We need a datasheet for the transducer. I suspect it's resonant, i.e., the equivalent circuit is not a simple capacitor.
BTW, why do you need a 600kHz piezo transducer in a cell phone?

Thanks for your reply. I need it for zooming functionality. I am assigned to a work-area where I don't have any experience and that's the major problem.

Anyways, now I don't have a datasheet. I measured the capacitance of the PZT by using multimeter and found it to be 30nF. In this circumstances could you please suggest me any possible solution or trail?

thanks again
