if i have an amplifier with 1 dB compression point to be +35dBm, what would be the overall 1 dB compression point of a combined amplifier stage?
the amplifiers are combined using wilkinson divider

"Compression point" is the power level at which gain response begins to drop off by a specified amount.

If both amps have the same compression point, and are simply ganged with a Wilkinson combiner, wouldn't the total effective compression point simply be doubled? (At most?) Total 38dB minus combiner loss?

yeah i guess ... but because the gain wasnt doubled so i thought that is the case for the 1dB compression point as well

thanx anyways
