That is a good deal even though it only goes to 40 MHz.

B&K makes good test equipment, most of my meters are either B&K or Fluke if you don't count those $2.50 Harbor Freight ones I just strew all over the place for quick measurements.

Still not as good as finding a 24xx series Tektronix somewhere though. Sometimes TechRecovery will have some they don't advertise as they're missing a couple of knobs and they'll let them go cheap, sometimes you can call around to all the electronic engineering firms and they'll have several they just retired to a closet cheap for the asking - especially if you tell them you're a student in dire need.

I was not aware that B&K had production facilities in china --

I have a BK # 1541A 40 Mhz dual, though obsolete a/o 1990, they sent me schematics, board layouts, parts list and calibration protocol - free this year ! -- I was really impressed, 'cuz what company anymore stands behind their [ obsolete ] product in that manner ?

If I can get B&K products made on continent, they have my business forever !~!:)
