making a passive AM loop antenna, you need to separate the wires a certain amount and use a variable capacitor to tune the resonance of the antenna.
but when you make an AM loop antenna for your home stereo, you can just throw the wires on a frame, it takes much less wire, no VC needed, and it seems the stereo adjusts itself to whatever frequency you tune to. in fact if I use a VC it only messes up the signal.
does a home stereo automagically adjust itself for an AM loop antenna? or how does that work? why don't you need to do all the same things as you do for a passive loop antenna?
