Just for learning purposes.

How would you wire a set of relays to select load 1 first cycle and load 2 on the second cycle then go back to cycle 1? Using an off float that is normally open when the tank is at the shut off point. This would be for a waste water pump station the tank fills then pumps down then fills again.

I know this can be done with an alternating relay but was interested to learn if it can also be done with standard relays

 

Just found this thread. Same question. Kinda. I was thinking I ccould use the same switched input
To operate the alternating relay as well as the component through seperate relays. Didn't work.
