I could not find good reliable information on CRP2P batteries excopt in general terms-- " maximum discharg current 20 mA "??, 500 mAh to 1400 mAh", " can explode when shorted", " low internal resistance"; so I think it is time for me to bow out from this interesting project.
Scraps from the past: #6 blasting cap delay time- voltage applied to break time 2-to 3 milli sec. My preferred firing ckt is cap discharge with SCR as switch- that was when you could buy small 300V batteries in the '50s.

i'm not sure about lipo batterys anyway, they are dangerous prob will stick to nicads c - d cell batterys.

I will only be setting off one pyro, 2a should be more than enough...the wire used in devices that are purchased are just 22awg.

Quick test: A battery of 4 AA NIMH Duracell 2650 mAh cells into 1Ω + two clipleads gave 3.5 A- plenty for one Igniter. 12V should do even slightly better; would still add a 3Ω resistor to protect relay. # 22 twin lead is about .8Ω for 25 ft.

I believe two would be pushing it a bit- drop 3Ω, probably would work. Might try putting two in series if they are a close match in resistance.
