Adding a capacitor 18000uf to an inverter input to reduce strain on battery. Worth it?

Hi all. I have at least 2 large capacitors leftover from a previous project. They are rated for around 50v at 18,000uf.
Would it be worth it to add them to a 12v 1500-3000w inverter?
Also, would it be best to install 1 directly to the inverter inputs, or to add a series capacitor to both the - and +?

Neither.
The first suggestion is harmless, but worthless.
The second suggestion is idiotic and will prevent the inverter from working.
But, hey -- knock yourself out doing useless stuff.

Thank you. I thought it was a stupid idea for the two caps on the input, but wasnt sure. Minus soldering, and building small circuits, it has been a long time trying to design anything.
