I want to use a tilt sensor in my project....application is something to do with fuel measurement of a vehicle with a float valve(to measure how much fuel is left in tank) and tilt sensor(to measure the tilt of vehicle ).... the micro-controller takes input from both the sensors, process n decide the fuel %... so which tilt sensor should i go for....also one with analog output or PWM output ??

is a 2 axis sensor is enough or 3 axis one ???

2 axis should be good (since you will only see the gasoline "tilt" in 4 directions, front, back, left, right), I would go with an analog output one, easier to measure the output rather than doing timing calculations for the PWM....
