Does anyone have advice on taking tests in AC Theory? I understand the concept of the Theory and how it works, but as soon as I get to a word problem on a test, my brain locks up. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Please and Thank you

AC theory, as in what, electromagnetics, phasors (complex nums) , or just plain how an electric generator generates current?

Provided you aren't the unfortunate victim of exam phobia, the only sure way to beat this is do as many practice problems as you can before you enter the exam room. There are only so many ways an examiner can test your knowledge in a particular subject and they must examine essentially only what was specified in the curriculum.

    Practice, practice ......

Thanks for the advice, unfortunetly, I think I suffer from exam phobia. I guess it doesn't help being in a Union Apprenticeship without real teachers.
