I need a small solenoid that will, when energized, push down on a pusbutton. The way I want the solenoid to work is to energize, ever time it is pulsed by a dc voltage source. The dc voltage source I'll be using will be anywhere from 6 to 15v. Hope someone can help me. I'll supply further info if requested.

Then there's the ever usefull electric car door locking solenoid. There are a couple of different varieties, the moptorized one is the slowest.

 

How much force is needed to operate PB & how much travel? For simplicity you need a push type solenoid like an offering on All Electronics, most likley the 24 V model.

 

Unless the PB has a strong spring, you also need one with a spring return.
