Has all the hallmarks of some of the projects asked about around here.

I was gonna post this about 5 hours ago when I first saw it. Then I though wow this guys a physicist and he couldn't do better then a half arsed auto CNC. I think we could or single members could create a better oreo seperater then that.

 

How about a CNC plasma torch?

 

I prefer the lathe/vacuum chuck method over the mill method. It's quicker and it pays homage to the basic twist method that all children learn in school.

 

I prefer when the process has been simplified as far as possible.
I think the way this spring roll production line works is amazing, especially the way the front edge is picked up and how it is rolled at the end.

Just a basically a folding machine to make spring rolls. If you like that check out some of the automated folding machines some of the paper companies have. Some are crazy. And if you have a conveyor fetish check out FedEx's 400 miles of conveyors at their memphis HQ. Its amazing how they seperate all those packages automated, knowing when to drop one into this line, or that line, or pass it thru. Its amazing to watch it all work.
