Hello all,

I need help simply stating how a Half-Wave, Full Wave, and a bridge rectifier circuit convert AC inputs into pulsating DC outputs.

Much obliged.

Hi,

I think the topic of diodes and rectification is covered elsewhere in the information sections of this site.

As simply as possible, though, a diode allows current to flow through it in only one direction.

Hi,

I will be pleased if you can help me aboumy question. My question is when does the diode turn-off with an inductive load?

Thank you

When the anode becomes less than approximately 0.6V positive with respect to the cathode (for a silicon diode).
