8051 based Moving massage display

Hello members,
I am a new member in this great site. I want to develop a 8051 based 16bit moving massage display, i know a little bit of assymbly language, don't know c and other language. can any one guide me?

Hello Mr beenthere,
Thanks for reply. The massage is Text massages, but the text will be 16*16 or 15*12 LED matrix and 20 chars in total, because our regional ( INDIAN )texts are little complex to form for that we need this kind of matrix. The massage board has to be PC interface through serial port.
please guide.
