Hello!
I'm new to this forum & electronics.
I plan to create a counter using 555 timer. I intend to use 4026 which has a BCD counter & lcd driver. I am using a common Anode display with a decimal dot.

could you please help me with this & let me know if I can use the 4026 with the display. If not, which other IC can I use?

Thanks.
:)

Thanks for that information, Beenthere.
also i woukld like to know if single resistor of 470 ohms is sufficient connected to the anode, or if indivisual segments need to have indivisual resistors?
thanks
