    555 Monostable Circuit (Pulse) - Only £1.99

(Made and sold in the UK)

    • Easily build one of the most iconic circuits using the 555 chip
    • Great for solder practice
    • Can be used as a pulse generator for other projects
    • Affordable to all

Build a monostable circuit which turns on an LED for a period of time with one of the most popular ICs ever made, the 555 timer! It is so called the 555 timer as inside the chip there are three resistors in a row all having a value of 5k. In this circuit the 555 is configured to turn the LED on for a breif moment of time when the switch is pushed. The time for which the LED stays on is determined by the potentiometer.
