hi guys, i need a schematic for a night rider circuit using the 4017,s ic but i need it for 10 segments hope someone has one

hi bill,, thanks for the info but i was wondering how do i set the circuit up for just 8 leds running . i was looking at 12-3 example d and that is for 9 leds, what pins do i need to not hook up on the outputs of the 4017 ..

I decided I needed some punishment with MS Paint, so here's a version that will support just eight LEDs. I took Bill Marsden's 9-LED schematic, and trimmed it down by one.
