Well, thank you anyways for all your help. I understand that it can be frustrating trying to help a novice, and I appreciate you for being patient with me up until this point.

Also, I can't find a schematic for this, so I'm going in blind but I guess if I was more skilled I could figure it out regardless.

 

It is not like abandoning the subject nor you. Seems to me you did not read the links, or pay attention to the suggestions. A schematic is in the links with lots of steps and details. Read S L O W L Y

You just should play with other safer projects first before jumping to higher voltages, but not to discourage your learning curiosity, I was like that at 14, with 800V tube transmitters.

That is why entering university is at first year, not jumping directly to fourth.
I will keep an eye ocasionally to this thread anyway. Report your progress.
