Replaced 3 phase motor on my compressor with single phase.
Single phase motor spins at 3450. Old 3 phase was 1750.
Is there a simple way to reduce single phase motor speed?
new motor is single phase 14 amp 230 volt
I looked at speed controllers but they were unable to carry the almost 3400 watt load ( at least what I found)
Any help appreciated. I realize I could just change the pulley but have some room restriction...
Thanks for your help.

get a half-size pulley for the motor, or a double-size pulley for the compressor head. or change both pulleys to some configuration that results in the proper compressor speed.

Sorry to bother you all. It is just that easy. LOL. I'll pick up a smaller pully today. THANK YOU.
