Hello all,
I have a bit of problem, I am trying to understand what effects different loads (element's resistance) have on the amperages of the lines.
for example
230v 3ph
A-B 2 ohms (230 v read between A-B)
B-C 2 ohms (230 v read between B-C)
C-D 2 ohms (230 v read between C-D)
estimating I can read about 150 amps on any leg A,B or C
my amp draw on legs A, B and C should all be the same.
but what happens when the resistance doubles? or triples?
And which of the 3 legs will be affected? I mean if A-B doubles which leg will be affected? or vice versa with any other combinations.
General answers would be good but a formula and explaination would be better.
Thanks
