Hi all,i have an old swr meter with a blown detector diode,its an 1.8 mhz to 148 mhz unit,the originals are 1N60 diodes,can i use 1N5711W diodes as replacements,as i have a stash of them,TIA.

 

They will probably work but not as well as the originals I'd think.
If you already have them, just give them a try.
Replace all diodes so both the sides are the same. There may well be calibration and frequency range changes.

 

I would use that 1N5711. Until the 1N60 shows up, then restore to original.
