We don't know how long the conductors between the two circuits are and we also don't know about noise in the environment. A second set of capacitors at the far end of the connection might help filter out induced noise picked up by the conductors.

A second benefit is that instead of an L filter you have a Pi filter which will give better attenuation within the stop band.
