Hello,

Can i put E-waste disposal footprint (see image below) on my pcb silkscreen layer !? Or does does my board have to pass some inspection or conforms to specific regulations before i can put it on my board!!?
and what other markings that i can put without the board passing through some inspection!?

The crossed out wheeled bin symbol is not applied to components installed in another piece of equipment (such as a PCB).
See the second bulleted point (in the linked web page) under ‘What is covered’.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/regulations-waste-electrical-and-electronic-equipment

Although the web page specifically covers the UK regulations in relation to WEEE, despite leaving the EU, they are the same across the EU.

It is a good idea to include a part number & issue number in the PCB marking for traceability purposes; and if using a UL Recognised PCB manufacturer, include their File No. and flammability rating for the PCB material.
