Hello everyone

I just want to ask about the modulation type used in 5G
some references say it is PSK, other say it is 32QAM and other say 64QAM

I am confusing about that
can anyone help me to identify the exact modulation type used

thank you in advance

OFDM

Just to ask,
this is the modulation of the low level 1 and 0 stream
do you mean the encoding / protocol used by the higher levels ?
Thank you for your answer

and that what I really ask for

as you see, many modulation types are listed in this article, and my question is about, what is the specific modulation type used in practical 5G system

OFDM is the technology used in 5G systems.
The specific modulation used (QPSK / 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation / 64 QAM) will depend on the available Bandwidth in the Spectrum of Operation (800 / 900 / 1800 / 2300 / 2500 MHz) and the traffic being handled. The system can dynamically shift from, say 16 QAM to 64 QAM, when the traffic peaks.

The default modulation will be decided (by the operator) based on the Cost of Spectrum, QoS required, Traffic, .....

To double underline @Ramussons post.

5G is, like all these systems I have seen, a specification of specifications,

each country seems to have taken a sub part of the base specification,
