Trying to wrap up a badge for DC29. Thought I could have JLCPCB fab and assemble, but they don't have a way of assembling parts unless they carry them. They don't have a way for me to ship them parts to use in the assembly. Any other recommendations for fab and assembly that won't break the bank and won't take 4 weeks? Only doing a small run of 20.

What's a DC29?

How big are your boards? What parts are you putting on them? Small parts such as resistors and capacitors are easily assembled by hand, especially in a batch that small. Even some IC's are easily done by hand. BGA, QFN and the like are best assembled with the proper equipment.

Well, the boards are big. About 320mmx320mm. Nothing that's hard to hand solder (I even have a soldering oven) and I have done plenty. Problem is I don't have time to do the assembly right now, even if it's just a partial assembly.

Allpcb.com doesn’t have the restriction about parts from their catalogue. They have a purchasing/sourcing department.
