Hi,

I am using 12v/9A battery as power source. if we want to switch on/off the power supply at high frequency i.e. above 100Khz, is MOSFET is the right choice, please advise which component can use?

Thanks in advance.

It depends on what is going to do the switching and also what the load looks like. We just don't have enough information.

The gate-source of a Mosfet has a fairly high capacitance. it takes a fairly high current to quickly charge and discharge that capacitance at your high frequency. Try using a dual complementary (one NPN and one PNP) pair of emitter-followers to drive the gate.

You might generate an illegal amount of radio frequency by switching that much current above 100kHz. Just something to think about.
