Are reflective foils in lcd TV's made of aluminium, or at least are there any available tv models that uses them?

 

Reflective LCDs have an aluminium foil behind the LC panel; Transmissive ones may have a white diffuser instead. Never seen a TV with a reflective screen, always backlit/edgelit transmissive

Thanks for the answer. One more thing. Can x-rays go through the white diffuser or gets reflected same way as the aluminium foil?

 

The white plastic diffusers are transparent to X-rays as any other plastic is. And there is zero emission of X-rays in a LCD.

 

Where would the X-rays come from?
