Hi all,
The push button switch of my multimeter broke down. I threw the switch out.
During the holidays I got intrigued and would like to fix it.

This is the schematic of the switch I bought: https://robu.in/product/7x7mm-6-pin-dpdt-self-lock-lock-push-switch-10pcs or a direct link: https://aws.robu.in/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/7x7mm-6-Pin-DPDT-Self-Loc... (They were advertised specifically for multimeters).

This is the whole schematic of the multimeter (top left is the switch): https://elektrotanya.com/my-64_digital_multimeter_sch.pdf/download.html

So my question: would this switch be fit for multimeter as it is shown on the schematic?

Thanks!!
Bart

Thanks Bertus,
I'm clearly having some trouble in reading the switch-schematics.
I think the multimeter schematics want a switch that connects the bottom two or the upper two connection holes.
Correct?

I also found the following switch. Again difficult to deduct (for me as a beginner) what it will do.

Thanks!
