Please help.... I need a complete circuit diagram of on delay timer of about 2seconds in place of a centrifugal switch for a single phase electric motor . I need to create a delay of about 2sec to disconnect the starting capacitor and axillary winding after the motor has pick... I will be very grateful to get your response asap...

Why? To replace a bad centrifugal switch that isn't available? There is a better way of doin it that can be bought off the shelf and is a proven thing. This would be a commonly used thing for sealed refrigeration systems it is called a potential relay. It mounts outside of the motor and drops out the start winding and capacitor when the motor gets to a certain point of speed, just like the centrifugal switch does.

Doing it with a 555 type circuit gets more involved than just the timer. You would also need to add an AC relay controlled by the 555 timer, since the timer works only with DC. A link to explain them - https://www.achrnews.com/articles/92424-know-your-potential-starting-relays

Just one type of the potential relay for illustration - https://www.amazon.com/Supco-9069-P...H2KV85VC9BG&psc=1&refRID=P3T6HHBMPH2KV85VC9BG
