Hello.

What is the main differences between ceramic antennas and stamped metal antennas? I find a lot of comparisons of either one to PCB trace, external, etc, but haven't found one who compares these two. Thanks!

On the edge of senses I feel the ceramic is epsilon more than one media, it means that part of waves are trieng to escape the entrance in it. Thus, probably, the identical size antenna may have a diminished Gain factor. But as sure the capacitative environment demands a smaller inductive component, the antenna vibrating elements will even be smaller as those in air, thus the Gain will be much more diminished. Thus - there are two factors eating off the good Gain.
