Hi

I have a question wrt calculating current gain with a bjt amplifier.
Is this correct?

Ai (No Load) = ic / signal current

Ai (With Load) = iRL / signal current

Thanks,

aac

A bjt is usually in a circuit that has a schematic and parts list that you did not show. it has a certain power supply voltage.
The transistor can have a DC current gain called hFE and it can have an AC signal current gain called hfe.
Without seeing your schematic, parts list, voltage and what you want then we do not know what you are talking about.

No current gain without load! Could be voltage amplification.
Thanks AG!
