I want use in my car without inverter.
Thanks for your support.

Welcome to AAC!
You posted to a very old thread which is discouraged but the answer is simple.
No, these PSUs require 120VAC or 240VAC so you could not power the board from your 12V car.
But the thermo-coolers and fans usually run at about 12VDC so you could maybe power them directly without this PSU at all.
Good luck!

Thank you..

Ok-ok i now that. But i want use adjust cooling degree and auto stopping cooling when degree is reach adjust value.
Can i separate to dc and ac section on psu board and can i supply 12vdc via any point on dc section?
Thanks for your support.

Probably not. The PSU is a switcher that has the temperature control integrated and that controls the PSU PWM which is powered by AC. Here's a thread about all of that with representative schematics.

There's nothing to prevent you from using some of the temperature sensing stuff there to close a relay to call for cool for bang-bang control. You probably can find an electronic thermostat on Amazon or Alibaba that would do the temperature sensing and output a control signal or just make your own. Lots of help here if you want to go that route.

The relay output on some of these says 20A at 14V. That should do it.

I was looking around for this same power supply for my mini fridge and saw this thread.

Just wanted to backup what JohnInTX stated about running the unit directly from the 12V.

The mini fridge that I have that (Cooluli Mini Fridge from Amazon) runs off the same power supply also has a 12V DC input, and inside, the + and - wires are soldered on the control board to the exact same locations as the + and - coming from this power supply board. Not sure what would happen if you plugged in the 12V from your lighter socket, and then also 110V plug, say from an inverter, in your car too. Probably a lot of drama.

The part that would concern me is that the power supply output is 12V 3 Amps and 3 amps would be a different situation for different automobiles coming from the lighter socket. It may be fine, I haven't checked current. Also, I think there is no shut off for cooling - it runs as cool as it can and never stops, so it would be something to watch for if your lighter sockets are still drawing from the battery when the key is off/removed.

In addition to the specialized car lighter adapter cable, mine also came with a USB adapter cable that plugs into the 12V input on the back of the fridge, so you can even run it off a phone recharging type battery for a while. The comments state that the USB(5V) is weak for cooling, but I didn't remember any complaints about the car adapter version. You can see the cables in the user pictures section in the Amazon listing. I never used either.
