I think based on the investors concerns picking grid scalability would trickle. They did say they create power sources for specialized Companies requirements. Not to mention current grid tie backup power systems that should need to be renewable instead of a throw away system.

The electrical power grid that powers North America is divided into multiple wide area synchronous grids. The Eastern Interconnectionand the Western Interconnection are the largest. Three other regions include the Texas Interconnection, the Quebec Interconnection, and the Alaska Interconnection. Each region delivers power at a nominal 60 Hz frequency. The regions are not usually directly connected or synchronized to each other, but there are some HVDC interconnections.
