I want to build a 150 vdc regulated power supply. I need 1-2 amp regulated output. Can't find a voltage regulator for this voltage. Can someone help me by leading me in the right direction.

 

Although the answer may seem obvious it is not. What's the input voltage?

 

Look at the LM723 data sheet. But power dissipation may be your biggest problem

Go to ebay and buy a bench supply. This is a 300W converter, you can't find an IC regulator that can do this.
