Ouch! If you can, avoid any use of the 741. I really hope you have other options

 

A major factor in an op amp for generating triangle waves is the slew rate. That's the speed at which the output can rise in voltage and is measured in V/uS. The 741 will probably not keep up at 20kHz. It does about 0.5V/uS. The LM318 is < $1 and does 50V/uS. There are many others.

 

use the circuit figure 47 on page 34, make R2 variable say 47K ohms and C1 1nf, that should give you 20Khz in the centre of the wiper.

I made the circuit in Proteus but it gives no output I also tried different values of R2 and C1 but still no output.

 

What power are you applying to the circuit?

 

I am applying 12V

 

Try making R3 100K and R1 470K
