Does anyone know how to drive a light sensor and supply 12 volts for lighting a sighn
I don't have a circuit built now but every time I try one or more components heats up too much

 

Huh? Are you trying to light something up when it gets dark? A better explanation would help.

 

Post schematics you've tried.

A google for "Dark detector relay" should give a result that should work, post here before assembling.
