Hi guys,
I need something like a battery monitor with a switch-over mode. Basically a voltage regulator should check the voltage level of a 12V Li-ion battery and if it is fully charged it must switch-over to a second battery.

The battery is being charged using a micro wind turbine with a 9V DC generator.

Please HELP.

I am thinking of using a 9V DC Permanent Magnet motor at 16000rpm. It should generate a DC current of 3.5A at 13600rpm.

Even at low rpm I think I should be able to get enough current to charge a Li-ion battery with a capacity of 6500mAh.

Any suggestion please?

 

how will it get fully charged a 9v. you seem to be to inexperienced to be playing with lithium chemistry batterys the way you are. at least switch to a 7.2 NiCd if its just to prove a concept you will thank me when you don't burn your house down
