I have a 110V transformer but the output is approx 134Volts thus components controlled by this transformer i.e. solinoid valve is getting extremely hot? can I smooth regulate this transformer output? The transformer is 240V primary with supposedly 110V secondary, can anyone advise?

I think that your transformer's primary windings have begun to develop internal shorts, probably due to overheating.

That's causing the number of turns on the primary side to effectively become reduced in number, with a resulting increase in the output voltage on the secondary side.

I suggest that you replace the transformer, preferably one with a higher VA rating.
