i need a ckt to convert 1 phase to 3 phase, to implement 3phase rectifier using SCR. how do i proceed, keeping in mind the cost(i.e without any motor )

i would think that doing this would involve a DC to DC converter, a bunch of flip flops, and power inverter circuits.

as far as how to go about it, i have no idea.

There is a better way, I think: Use a single phase motor to drive a 3 phase alternator. That is equivalent to the method used by most cities to convert the AC from the power supply to DC. My town has an old streetcar museum that converted 3 phase to DC merely by using a 3 phase motor to drive a DC generator.

I don't understand the question. Converting single phase to 3 phase for running motors is quite easy and only needs an idler motor and at least one capacitor for the conversion. I don't know how well that would work with a non-inductive (i.e., motor) load.

But, if you are going to be rectifying it, why do you need 3 phase?
