I just bought a 1 MHz crystal oscillator for my am transmitter. The more voltage I apply to it the stronger the signal. The problem is that I do not know the maximum voltage it can handle. It does not have a data sheet. I would appreciate some help.
Is it like this one? I'm pretty sure it's meant to run on 5V, to produce a 5V clock signal for a computer. I believe it's fine at 9V but I suppose its life might not be as long.
Here are the specifications.
I just went to the Jameco web site and searched for the part number.
If you click on overview, you'll see that the supply voltage is 5 ±.5V
