This..is..not..good.

I can 'see' it now..a bunch of hairless, blind cats. Kids who think they can use a 1W laser to play with their cat...UGGH.

These should be treated the same as guns. Legally as well as handling. There's another video of one cutting through a CD case.

Not to mention blinded drivers and pilots.
In the Uk last year there were nearly 1000 "attacks" on airliners, police helicopters and air ambulance helicopters

1 idiot even took on an AH64 Apache - shame it wasn't armed :)

Several people are now behind bars for such attacks - I don't know about elsewhere but in the UK it is a criminal offence.

It is also illegal to shine lasers into the clear sky in Texas. I suspect aiming this at someone could be construed as assault with a deadly weapon. I think the green lasers shined at airline pilots fall under that category, and they were relatively weak. Thing is folks, prices drop. $200 today, $100 next year, $50 year after that.

Well, one piece of good news, just read BMorses link, the price jumps up to $299 after midnight PST today.

Reason I think this is good news is there are an awful lot of idiots out there.
