I am doing a project using zigbee protocols but am having trouble in understanding them i have the following queries :

1. What is difference between Xbee and Zigbee,if any?
2. What does Zigbee actually uses ? I have found out that they use DSSS and OQPSK Please do clarify it if true as i could not properly understand the IEEE paper.

Plz do help if anybody knows anything about it?

 

As what i know, Zigbee is a standard, while XBee is a Zigbee module produced by Digi Maxstream. XBee do uses FHSS as well for reliable transmission.
