z transform of x[n] = cos(Bn)u[n]

Can anyone give me a hint on how to do it? I have seen the z table and there is no cos function for me to input...:confused::(

Hello hitmen,

cosBn = {exp( j Bn) + exp ( - jBn)}/2 and now it becomes just becomes the transform of exponentials and in the end back substitute to get the transformation in terms of cos n
