Z source inverter

    hey guys,
    I am currently working on z source inverter for UPS applications. My problem is that in the shoot through state, the input current becomes unbounded because both the switches in the leg are shorted. if anyone come up with a solution to the above problem plz help.

    what i wanted to ask is dat in shoot-through state in a z source inverter...for whichever application, since both the legs are shorted..current is bound to increase as there is no resistance in the circuit at that time.what can be done to prevent the current from increasing?

    My project is simulation of Z-source inverter!!!
    ]n Z-source, the switches of one leg can shorted in same time, that is the feature of Z-source.
    In shoot through state, the Z-source, equivalent the converter.Now with control time of shoot-through zero state, we can step up or down the voltage.

    My question:
    How control the time the shoot through zero state?

    shoot through duty ratio can be calculated by using the governing equations and can be implemented using a simple logic circuit. i can mail you the simulink model for simple boost control if u want.

    Can you create the signal with control time of shoot through in Fig 12?
    I produce the signal in Fig 11 but I can not control time of shoot through state.

    i am final year student and still in progress to complete my final project .. My title project is about z source inverter .. Can u send the simulink about z source with simple boost control? The simulation is very important to me graduate .. Help me please help me:(:(:
