Also these TFT displays don't see spi signals with 36 mhz clock. They'll drop off much before of that
Excuse me but what do you mean "these TFT displays don't see spi signals with 36 mhz clock"? you mean they don't support this speed/clock rate? if so I have to say that I'm using this LCD over this interface with this clock rate and it's working perfectly.
If the LDO can handle 3 Amps then it will be fine with a MCU and a small display.
No, it just gives us around 800ma.(I think it's nominal)
Whats the point of heating off one watt with the MOSFET?

What's puzzle to you? look at this circuit:



P9-11 are pin-headers.
P9 gets current 25v AC from transformer.
P10 goes which is a rectified 25v AC goes to "+heater".
P11 which is a current with low ripple goes to the LDO. the LDO supplies the MCU and op-amp and the LEDs of the LCD and the LCD driver.
This is the LDO's datasheet:

Is there anything which you cannot get yet?

Where does it give 800MA?

Your circuit takes 800MA?
