Hello All,

We imported 6 x XMTF-808 digital displays from China and are having problems calibrating the units. The units are running with K type thermocouples in a kiln. (see attachment)

When we ran the kiln, two of the displays seem to be running OK until the temp hit 400 degree when they started to flash. We were getting an error message on one of the displays (I think its faulty) and 3 units did not move from about 30 degree C (even though the kiln was a lot hotter than this).

We have an operation manual (of sorts) and have worked out how to change the thermocouple type but cannot change the SV which is st at 400.

Can anyone help?

 

Unplug the little button cell batteries to reset the fault condition?

Seriously, they look like garbage temperature controllers. I hope they were cheap.
